Lisa, your silkies are beautiful. I love you little one. Does it have a bit of frizzle..or sizzle going on? Pretty cute all right.

There was a chance of sizzle so I think she might be slightly sizzled lol

She weighs 1 1/2 lbs, very cute. She needs a good man to keep her happy....hint hint.....lol A blue Silkie rooster would make some cute babies with her!

So excited you got a white! I sure hope it is a girl and bearded! :ya

I got a white!! With a vaulted head, now waiting for it to dry off to see how bearded it is.

Wow!! What a nice surprise!! So happy you got one :)

Going to count the dark blues now. :) I just sold 5 already, a couple of blacks, and light blues, and a dark blue. Wow, a lot of folks are wanting silkies. They are pretty cute. I am keeping the rest of the light blues, just in case one or two turn into a splash.

Keeping the white of course. :) I have a dark blue in the bator now, at least I think it's a dark blue, just got out of the egg all the way, and is wet. Hard to tell at first. That's my last one.

Yeah for a white!

So what I thought I would take today through the weekend to do with putting the 11 weeks olds with the older flock has just taken a few hours. I just went to go check on them, and they are just hanging out in the side yard dirt bath area, and they are all sunbathing. So I guess there is going to be no problems there, they are all within inches of each other. Makes me happy. Not sure if I will have them sleep in the main coop tonight. I guess it depends if they follow the girls in or if they go back to their coop.

Now since I have them all together, can I feel the All Flock or do I need to put them on Flock Grower? I don't know how to feed the older girls with the babies, since the babies shouldn't be eating layer feed. I do have Osyter Shell out there, so you think they would all be okay on All Flock or Flock Grower? The babies are 11 weeks old. Can't believe they are that old already.

Oh man I missed my window again. The hunt continues for a blue silkie rooster lol

Ahh shucks, my white isn't all white, it has a dusting of brown around the head and neck. Keeping it anyway..it's already amazing looking.

Lisa, here are pictures of a couple of dark blues. The first one has white on it's neck,
but I do believe that it goes away like aussies right? The first three photos is of one chick.
the last one is a different one. Oh, the second one also has white on the neck. But
I'm not thinking splash. I've seen a lot of splash, no yellowish coloring on them.

The leg and feet feathering is great on most of these chicks.

If you want to wait and see what the others hatch out, if they hatch out, then we could
do that too. A lot of BBS in there..and the one black that is Iluv's if it hatches. :)

Anyway, your dog is not crazy. It is smart. It's knows that mama will not hurt it with the big loud thing. :) Pretty cute little stink. :)

What a cute blue :) And dont worry about your white chick not being white just yet. My white one that im thinking is a Roo was white with alot of buff tones on its rump, chest, neck. I got it because I thought it would be different from my white girl as I was trying to pick all different colors, well he's turned into a beautiful snow white chick just like her now so your baby may still turn white to :)
