Utah!

Hello everyone! I am currently interviewing for a job in Salt Lake City and was wondering what advise you all would have for me. I may end up moving down very quickly with my DH, two DSes and two cats. Hopefully I can land somewhere where the landlord won't mind a coop.
Research the company really well and taylor your answers in a way that you know will benefit them as a company. Near the end of the interview they usually ask you if you have any questions. Make sure you have at least two questions related to how you can help their business. It depends of course on what kind of job it is, but you get the picture.

Where is his company located? Where are you coming from? There are a lot of areas in the County/valley that allow backyard flocks.

sideWing- I tailoring as much as I can, they ask a lot of behavioral questions. "Describe a time in the past when you disagreed with your boss" and such.

Newmarch- I am coming from Colorado Springs. The company is on the western side of Salt Lake City, right on 70 if I remember correctly. It's a warehouse so they always place them right next to the interstate.

So maybe Highway 80? if it is west of SLC and close in that would be a good chance. Then close transit would be Magna or West Valley (though those are not necessarily places I would personally look for a house) Tooele is a jaunt but nice country living atmosphere and animals welcome and abundant. Depending on where his work would be located you may want to look at West Jordan or South Jordan or even as far down as Herriman (that is where I live) since it is just a relatively easy drive up U111 (Bachus Hwy) or Bangerter to get up to the warehouse. That should give you a little research to occupy you while you wait for the hiring process.

south jordan would not be my first choice as they tend to be more restrictive there. west jordan is nice. i too would look for other places than west valley and magna unless you do your research on the neighborhood. no offence to any of our friends that live in those areas

Thank you for the tips! Cross your fingers, I have another phone interview in a few hours!

Hope I get a girl out of one of the new blue ones, because I think the ones outside are
looking like boys?????? Lisa???

A blue and a splash...they are in with some silkie babies and an EE, and the bantam cochin.
