Utah!

But they were sure working hard trying to get me to say yes thru text messages, especially duck lover who was working me for another Blue Swedish duckling.

Love the story about George! That is so heartwarming to think of someone who has raised beef cattle for years getting so attached to the little guy. It's wonderful the way animals can touch our lives and make living a little sweeter.

When my friend was growing up they always had a couple cows that they would raise every year for beef. She saddle broke one and used to ride it around like a horse. Rich kids with all the video games and fancy things in the world can't touch the kind of life that a farm kid has.

Well I talke to my neighbor and we are going to trade BLRW, our current one may end up as stew but that's okay. Maybe her being gone will help the EE. hopefully they will all be nice to the newcomer.

:woot   Our son got his call today.   He's going to Atlanta Georgia!   :ya   He's in the states!  :bow   I feel better having him in the states.  I'm a mom.  Plus, it will be so much easier to send him packages!!  Mail him and all that stuff.  No worrying about him in another country and him getting him some packages there.  Christmas will be so fun...I get to send a biig box.  :D

sundance..glad you are feeling a little better.  I hope you do get to come home sooner than later.  I'm thinking that those fires really got you started with the chest stuff..that was pretty bad for a while.
my dad did his mission there and our family friend we consider family did his there too! its where my dad got to know ups and he ended up getting a job when ups first came here when he got back. hope this does not offend anyone but my dad insists the georgia state bird is the cockroach :gig your son is going to see some huge bugs for sure :) my dad has a picture somewhere of a ant next to a ruler that was 2 1/2 inches long... oh and he will get to eat frog legs and lots of okra and tons of fried food :)

Cynthia is he going to be English speaking? When does he leave. Such an exciting time for your family!

Sasha thanks for the pictures! Those little Polish are turning out so beautiful! I love Zorro! He is going to be gorgeous! Storm is a beauty! I can't wait until you get eggs and chicks. :D So fun.

Sphinx after Sasha's story about George I think you and your kids will end up with a pet cow! It would be hard butchering it after caring for it for that amount of time. ;) So if I'm remembering right my sister just spilt everything equal among the four of us but that wasn't what we wanted her to do because she was taking care of it. ( they had a lot of animals at that time though so caring for it wasn't a big deal to her) We thought she should have a break in her cost but she didn't. So your situation is a bit different. Oh and included in the cost was butchering costs too.
