I think I'm in the competition? Maybe? I had 41 eggs and 10 were clears, so I'm down to 31 still in. Tough to tell on some of them because I have some Welsummer and Black Copper Maran eggs (and I'm just using a small LED flashlight and a toilet paper roll!)

We'll see! These guys will be mutts (parents are purebred) but I literally have people waiting in the wings on Facebook Swap sites to buy them! I could have 5 incubators going and sell out no problem! Must just be the time of year...

I have 6 little eggs due on Friday the 13th.

This chick just hatched from one of the eggs. I believe it is a chick from a black frizzle bantam mixed with maybe a blue splash bantam. Her name is sugar.

How much will you be selling yours for? I'm think about asking $3 each for mine (straight run) but I'm not sure. They will be Easter Eggers, perhaps some olives, turkens and Legbars.

It's no biggie whatsoever, but I did send a private message back on 1/26 with a photo of my incubator and the number of eggs (41). But, no worries--I'm not planning on raising Bantams anyway, so I'm all good!!

On Facebook, there are several local poultry and small animal groups that people post animals for sale in. For me, here in upstate, NY, I joined the "Sloansville Poultry and Small Farm Animal Swap," "Mohawk Valley Poultry Swap," "Albany, NY Area Farm/Homestead Buy/Sell/Trade within 50 miles of Albany," etc.

I think I'm a member of 5 or so local groups. You post a picture, description, cost, location, etc. and people contact you to buy it. Sold baby chicks and hatching eggs the minute I put them on!!!
