alright update- i got 5 buff brahma babies so far and 8 buff orps and still got a few eggs in yet.

just put in 9 copper black marans eggs in the hatcher i had shipped in and i have 6 more of them under my broody silkies. come on coppers!!! i'm so excited to finally be hatching this breed!!!

I am so nervous! I'm on day 16. My Husband was going to leave the AC off today, figuring it only will get up to 85, and I had a looney fit! So there they are sitting in the bator at 75 climate controlled goodness in the bator!

I pretty much told him he'd get what's coming to him if they died today because he didn't want to run the AC!

He's convinced that it's themostatically controlled, and it doesn't make a difference.

oh but it does make a difference in the humidity.

I have 11 Welsummer on day 11 and 9 golden sebrights on day 6 along with 2 Bl Splash OEGB and 2 Showgirl x sizzle. Lot's more one the way - staggered hatches again.
