Vent Gleet or Egg Bound?

Yeah I would try it just from this one bird. It probably itsnt worms but you might find something else.

Ok thank you so much! I am really hoping that it is egg bound and giving her some warm baths may help. Do worms cause this wet bottom and poo stuck to the feathers?

I read somewhere that giving calcium helps them pass the egg, so that's what I do with mine.
These are the exact pills that I give mine when I suspect an egg issue. I give them one each every other day until the egg passes..

So maybe that is what I am feeling that kinda moves. It is hard and round. I can not feel anything in the vent itself just this round hard thing I felt right below almost in her tummy. I take that same calcium myself - LOL- old age - so I am going to give that a try. How long can they be egg bound? This has been going on with her bottom for awhile?

Well she has not laid - maybe not egg bound either. She is up talking, eating, drinking. Her bum looked much better this morning. She has pooped a lot but nothing too solid. Was able to clean her up this morning with just a wet, warm paper towel.
