Hi, please tell me the best methods to treat. I have washed the area, applied an anti fungal cream and put a little apple cider vinegar in the water. No more treats for now but not sure what more to do. This is my hen Les, a silver lace Wyandotte, who has already been through a lot. Thank you.

I can’t get her to drink the ACV water and afraid I almost killEd her trying to administer the syringe of Epsom Salt water.
:hugs I think we all have that kind of trouble as novices, and sometimes make things worse although we are trying to make them better. You can either keep practicing or let nature take its course. I tend to go the latter route if the suffering seems no worse than it is when I intervene. It can get better on its own. Good luck to you and your hen!

Thank you for your kindness and encouragement.

Hi, yes i read that somewhere also but now can’t find the reference and have no idea how much I would give my hen?? Thanks
Can you please post some photos of the hen and her vent?
What symptoms of Vent Gleet are you seeing?

I would continue to apply the anti-fungal cream if that's what you have been doing.
Make sure her crop is empty first thing in the morning before she eats/drinks.
Keep water stations cleaned.

Not sure about Epsom Salts being syringed into her - that's usually a "remedy" for crop issues.

You ask about Nu Stock and how much to give...It is meant to be applied Topically - not given orally, so if that's something you wish to use, apply a small amount to the reddened skin.
