I have a 10x8 resin coop with two 8” circle vents at each end and a window with a box fan blowing out. I’m in western Kentucky and it’s really hot. I have 3 hens and they free range all day and go in the coop on their own at night. I have a camera in there and they are hot (wings standing out). Should I cut more vents or turn the fan around or are they okay? Thanks for advice. Forgot to tell you. Sand in bottom and a poop tray under roost that is cleaned every morning. No smell.

You could check with a thermometer. If the inside of the coop is hotter than the air outside, you should add more vents or turn on the fan or both.
Thank you for your advice. The box fan in the window is on but we have it blowing out for ventilation. I will check the temperature inside this evening.
