Its hilarious to watch.... He walks around all proud then when he gets bored chases everyone out of the sandbox or away from the water bottle but just stands there with his chest puffed out. I think have another one. Is it possible for a Pharaoh male to have some spots on his chest or should there be none at all?

i was wondering about the browns, mine will be 2 weeks old on monday and it seems that I can pick out some definate females by the speckles on their chest they are already fairly feathered, is it my imagination? is it easier to say thats a female when you see the speckles but not so easy to tell if its a male if you don't see them?

thanks again, I've been looking thinking ok that 1 looks f and that that that and then flutter and they all move to different spots lol, I think my little golden is a male and a couple others but seem to have plenty of girly's.

I have a male that started crowing and he is way past 9 weeks old. He can barely crow...sounds like an oboe that fell down the stairs while being played

oh so what you are saying is they look speckled and then it turns more rusty? I think I can see 1 rusty looking chest they are such cute little birds , as big as my chicken chicks now they do grow fast, and boy do they poop a lot and I guess I need a deeper tray for the sand.
