I'll post those pics once I butcher the chicks in March. Their so big! Better have good meat or my family won't like Squatch as much. Right now they think he's the best rooster ever!

His brother Sid is being testy lately because he's now just hitting that hormonal stage. Squatch has been taking care of him when he starts acting up. Hopefully Squatch can teach him how to be a good rooster.

Sid is the type of rooster people would give up on because he has tried to attack me. I get why and it's honestly just him being hormonal. He's not even aggressively attacking me, I think he's trying to test me. I'm not scared of him... Most people would be when he stands just a little above my knee and that's not him stretching.

I think a lot of people would have the chance to have a good rooster if they just had a bit of patience. There are a lot of things that you can do to make a rooster good and none of those require man-made materials. They just require patience and work.

I've had bad ones. I had 3 brothers... They were supposed to be pullets according to the breeder. One was named Esther because I thought it was a pullet and It always had a mean look. So I gave "her" a name that most evil woman characters are named. It would peek in the windows like this too, it was just a creepy rooster.

And my boy Sid has been testy with me. He's Squatches brother. He tried to attack me a few days ago, I put up my boot and he attacked it then walked away. He's just hit that hormonal stage so I'm going to give him some time to adjust. If he keeps acting up, I may reconsider him living here.

I'm going to add more girls the next few months to see if that helps out a bit. After that he's going to the freezer.
