BUT I am experiencing WAY bizarre issues posting photos.

IS IT TRUE that that this forum {NOT CRITICIZING} asks for FILE #s ?

WE can't drag and drop?


I Prepped photos last week soon after joining; I've been trying to do this: but I am confused.


I've never been on a system w/ no drag/drop.


I have over 40,000 cloud photos; many family....


Please... I KNOW you BYCers can help me diagnose and help Sadie... I've felt like an idiot.

Does someone have a niece, tech genius daughter {haha [since I'm so primitive....] or even an a nephew [KIDDING! My nephew is brilliant, too.] {Yo. We do need screenshots, eh?]

Nope, no drag and drop. You click the icon above the text editor where you type in your replies that looks like a moon over some mountains. From there, you click the gray "Upload" button that will then bring up a window that will let you choose a file or files to upload.

Or if you want to send me a link to your pictures, if you can, I can post them for you

Deacon's black and white bird in the avatar is (probably) a barred rock. It is totally possible to have a barred bird (not necessarily a barred rock) that is frizzled. I have some frizzles myself

Speaking of pictures, anyone mind if I share some of my gorgeous new Ayam Cemani roo? He's a stunner. Gotta come up with a good Halloween type name for him.

The sheen on these guys is so gorgeous.

RareAvis may have an apple device - they are big on click and drag - for this you have to find how to upload pictures. I really hate when people give up - and wait for help - play around - figure it out - hover over the choices and see what labels pop out to let you know what each square can do for you ... we have lost our ability to figure things out - and I'm not just being a meanie pants saying this - this skill will help you greatly when also dealing with birds - their set up and their health care ... it is logical deduction and trial and error at the non-harm level .... So please - figure things out - there is also a joy in doing that ....

Yes, that black and white bird (creatively named "Black and White") was a Barred Rack. Sadly, I lost her this summer to internal laying, and the Rhode Island Red in the picture with her I also lost to malfunctioning crop issues that I just could not get resolved, even with a vet's help. It was a hard summer for our flock, we lost most of our old ladies to old age type problems. I'm down to three hens right now and still feeling a bit sad about it.

Bummer News - I've had a good 2-3 years as far as predators go - but since I stopped feeding my murder of ravens, the hawks have been circling closer - and they got one of my only remaining 2 grey AB hens (they lay a light blue egg). Could it have gotten any one of my 12 extra roos ? Any one of my super old hens ???? Nope. It got the prized breeder.

Sheesh. and I'm not happy with any of the hatchery blue layer stock - so I feel stuck.

I wanted blue eggs - but I think it is not meant to be - I'm not going to invest any more money in a good AB hen OR a real auracauna hen - and those are my only two choices to keep this line pure.

Yeah, if that darn hawk just knocked on the door and asked for food - I had a dozen young roos and about 6 old hens I would have handed over. I do like hawks - but sheesh louise - why take a prized young breeder hen. Sigh.
