I have hatched porous eggs with no problems. But I think everybody is having problems. I had two batches of eggs arrive from two different breeders on the same day, during the cold spell. ALL the eggs did not develop and both breeders are dependable. It is clear that the PO let them sit in a cold and or drafty place overnight and the end result was dead eggs. One of the breeders though is replacing the eggs though I did not ask him too. I think most of the problems seem to be surfacing from the cold snap. It was in the low teens in Greensboro, NC the night before my eggs arrived. Which is where all the packages for my area are sorted to from around the country. I am frustrated as well as others but I will just have to keep on and chalk one up to not to order eggs during extreme cold.
