VERY important relevant SWINE FLU information. PLEASE listen.

That's the problem in a nutshell. It is just amazing how many people don't wash their hands after using a public restroom. If they don't wash their hands after THAT, then it's reasonable to assume they don't wash their hands before or after preparing food (unless they get something *icky* on them), changing diapers, blowing their nose and having a blowout, and a multitude of other disgusting things.

If you include your photo, you'll probably have the airport all tied up for days!

After you get it, mail me a coughed-in envelope, please.

Well, for anyone wanting to lick my couch, I DO have cats but my furniture is leather so the hair falls off. You will have to compete with my puppy for couch licking time, however. He seems to think that is a good alternative to chewing since I don't freak out quite so bad.

As for feeling tired, I honestly STILL don't have my pre-flu energy level back and it has been a LONG time now. I think part of that is the still healing cracked ribs I got coughing so hard when I was sick. It still hurts which gets tiring.

Yes. In addition to the flu I got secondary bacterial pneumonia.

Okay, I won't be licking your couch, your puppy, or your bathroom door.
The kid from Harry Potter had it and it seemed mild. Maybe I'll have to fly to England.

LOL that might be your best bet.

I honestly think I would have been alright if I had caught it in time to take Tamiflu. That stuff is great. But I ignored it too long.

One thing that I think contributes to flu deaths is people getting too weak or refusing to cough hard enough. If I didn't cough HARD for more than about 30 minutes I felt like I was going to drown. That was hard once I cracked those ribs! It also required waking up every few minutes.

Do you have Tamiflu in your home, like storing aspirin, or are you saying you should have gone and gotten a prescription sooner?

And how do you know when to take it? Whenever I get sick, it's so gradual it seems, by the time I figure out "Yep, it's flu", I've had it for quite a while.

I have just "recovered" from Swine Flu, I never ever want it again> Luckily I got the tamiflu tablets in time. Even now I still have little energy. But most importantly is that I recovered from it. SO many haven't.

It is worse than "normal" flu, far worse, and although recovered my body still "hurts" ...... So for anyone out there that thinks they make be showing sympyons, see/call your Dr and get the Tamiflu tablets, it makes the recovery proccess easier.
