As @aart says, the open mouth is most likely stress. Give her some sugar water, and that will calm her and make her feel better.

I also considered that she was warm. I've tried adjusting the amount of heat. She still pants. The avian vet said to keep her surroundings 80-85. I have a thermometer in the bin with her. I'm also keeping one side shaded so she can get away from the light. I think you're right about stress or pain. I certainly hope it's not pain. I wonder if she is panting since her body is so weak. She has to work extra hard.I didn't read back but I think you are keeping her warm somehow...maybe too warm?
Panting can be from stress or pain too.
Hi! I'm so sorry I'm just responding. Today was quite the day. To top it off, we have an old house (1942 model). I forgot to put the cover on the floor air intake after installing new air filters. I fell into the hole. Not kidding. I'm pretty bummed up, but lucky. It could have been much worse. Maybe I'll laugh about it one day.How is sweet Debbie this morning?
Awe!!! Thanks so much! Debbie and I enjoyed watching the Super Bowl together tonight. If she was a "2" on Friday, she is a "4.5" today. I gave a few more details in a post below. Thank you for pulling for Debbie!I am anxiously awaiting news of Debbie’s condition. Praying hard for her.
Debbie is precious! Here's Debbie when life was a little easier ...
