Very underweight pullet. Advice??

I've put her under a small brooder plate, yes her crop was empty when I checked it. I was afraid this would happen, I've noticed with sick ones that sometimes they get significantly better then get much worse.
I'm sorry to hear that.
You've finished the Corid right? If you have, then I would give some PND to see if that helps.

You've had this happen before? Were the birds this happened with before from the same breeder?

Yes, yesterday was the end of our Corid treatment. I'm so sorry, what does PND stand for?🤦‍♀️

I was referring to a couple of failure to thrives that I've had in the past, they seemed to perk up then go downhill the next day. This is the only bird I've gotten from this breeder. I've contacted her with what's going on just so she can take a look at the rest of her flock.

Oh no. I really thought she had turned the corner.
Was she eating and drinking normally yesterday? I read your answer about her crop above, so I'm confused about her, thinking maybe she didn't eat or drink yesterday??

She was eating and drinking yesterday, she looked like she had been up and moving before I got up. Do their crops empty overnight? Or do they empty the next morning? (Sorry, that may be a stupid question)

Hers was definitely empty or close to empty this morning.

I'm sorry for the abbreviation. PND = Poultry Nutri-Drench.

Yes, crops empty overnight, so it's good that it was empty this morning.

It stinks when there's a failure to thrive. Some do seem like they are going to make it, but suddenly just a bad turn.

They should empty overnight, then they eat/drink when they get up in the morning.
I asked if she ate/drank yesterday because, in her condition, she might not have done those things, possibly contributing to what you're seeing this morning...

Gotcha, and I'm safe to do the Nurtridrench now that the Corid is done right? Because the Corid keeps them from absorbing the vitamins. I'm learning! Lol

She's stumbling around drinking some so we'll see.

Oh ok, sorry. Distressed chicken mom here😔 I did see her eating and drinking yesterday. She's started drinking so we'll see how she does.
