Oh you definitely can! I love all animals & even I was surprised how quickly I became so attached.You would really think that you can’t love a chicken, but you can!crying your eyes out if they die proves it!

I still cry about the first one I lost and that was over a year. And randomly cry about this latest concern. Luckily my calmer half is very understanding!

Still runs around the yard, picks grass, catches bugs, has a big appetite. Yeah she still sits in the nest box sometimes with nothing happening, but they both have been doing that ever since it got hot this summer. I keep hoping for molt to start bc the resulting slow down in eggs would be so good for them. If she gets where she needs more dark hours in the day, she’ll have to live in a kennel in the bathroom for a while. But they definitely can’t both fit in there!!
I will separate doses by 2 hours even with baytril!
