Just weird- I have another boy and they sound pretty different. This one just started making noise. I was hoping a girl!Sounds like a boy.
I agree, sounds like a drake. Definitely the froggy, raspy sound that my runners make. My runners are a little over 12 weeks and have their drake curls now, so maybe you will see that soon.11 weeks old and I am stumped!

He is super cute! I love runners! My big drake is molting, getting his big boy feathers and his little curls look like that. My other drake got them about 2 weeks ago and are now nice for sure curls.He is the cutest. I wish I could keep him. Yeah I saw two funky feathers, they’re one on each side so I didn’t know if it was due to molting

I hear ya! I have 2 drakes and 2 ducks, so one drake is going at the end of this month, my kids are super sad!My kids named him Kiwi they’re gonna be sad
Yeah I’m going to wait two more weeks just to be super sure or until his drake feather is fully visible- they’ll understand better that way. Currently they think it’s a “shim”I hear ya! I have 2 drakes and 2 ducks, so one drake is going at the end of this month, my kids are super sad!
Maybe some others can join in and confirm they see his drake feather too before you do anything hasty!
