He is getting orange on his neck and shoulder from his daddy. He's going to be one handsome fella! I hate to sell him.

His mom was a mottled Cochin. His mom is Dot.

Marshmallow rejected her chicks today, she wouldn't let them roost with her anymore so I had to put up a new roost. When I left Pumpkin and the chicks were on the same roost. Marshmallow had one all to herself.

Dot even roosted tonight, maybe it's to hot.
Usually when I block off the nest boxes she slept in front of her favorite one. She still makes broody clucks.

If had had my phone with me I would've taken pics. Marshmallow did a wonderful job of raising her chicks to be freindly.

Well technically chicks can care for themselves a day after they hatch, but yah they can run away from the other chickens. They had started going off by themselves without marshmallow. They still don't fully understand she doesn't want them anymore though. She treats them like any other chicken would. They are 9 weeks old now

Tonight Peanut slept with the chicks too, she didn't peck them so I left her there, she usually sleeps by Pumpkin.

My phone broke. The screen was coming off. So there won't be any updates for a while, a month at most. I am writing this from my sisters phone.

Thank you and my Dad is gone 'till Friday, when he gets back I will get a new one. I am typing this on a computer right now, so weird, I'm used to the mobile version. There's no auto correct either. I also couldn't see the words under a post on mobile version. <3 Jesus too
