Aww I'm so sorry violet!i truly am.if you sell eggs tell her,"mom, in the long run we get more money cause if its a hen we can sell her eggs."I did that to get my mom to get chicks, lol.

Then she would say but what if it's a rooster? And we don't sell eggs, I want to but for some reason she won't let me, we have mostly bantams.

That tiny egg is SO adorable!   Could it be that your mom won't let you hatch it because she's afraid the weather might turn too cold and harm it?

That and I think because of school I won't be able to spend time with it. If I raised it it would be imprinted on me

This is so cool, and the chick is irresistable! I agree that it would have been interesting to see what came out of the tiny egg you got.

I keep candling the egg, today is day five, I haven't taken it out from under spice yet. I don't know what to do with it. I can see a tiny chicken shaped shadow but wouldn't there be veins right now? I don't know.

Maybe you could post a picture? I've only ever hatched duck eggs, but I could try to help you as much as possible.

By day five you should see a circle of veins, with a red blob in the middle. But just keep waiting, it might be developing!

A picture would help, but in a few days you will know for sure Violet, if its developing it will grow quickly.

Pumpkins Bumblefoot is almost gone, speckles is better and I can't say about ginger
