I let Marshmallow sleep with huckleberry last night after I cleaned the pen. Hopefully he won't jump on her too much. He wanted to sleep right next to her even though there are other roosts

Got eight eggs yesterday, I think marshmallow layed. Her and huckleberry got along pretty well yesterday. Today is pumpkins turn to be out,marshmallow is in her own pen.

Two eggs today, I think wisteria has gone broody. I've never seen her on the nest before and every time I take her off she goes back. She's not puffed up or making broody clucks but she pecks my hand and screams

Wisteria is not broody, false alarm. Maybe she does lay eggs...

I thought marshmallow was going to lay an egg today, she got in the nest box but no egg. Pebbles and Dot haven't been laying, marshmallow hasn't really been laying either

I kept bugging Mom to make an appointment to visit Hawk at his new home, we were too busy because of Christmas. A couple days ago to found out Hawk and Acorn are dead. My two favoritest chickens I sold. the owner said a stray dog got into the yard and killed them, her other chickens were not killed because her son was there and put them in the coop. She said she likes to think Hawk died protecting the flock.

RIP Hawk and Acorn.
I wanted to get some feathers from him when we visited because I forgot to get some before he left. I have a dream catcher with all my chickens feathers on it.

Oh, Violet I'm so sorry about Acorn andHawk.Thats just awful.I hope they had good lives.But, also, just think, now, they are running around, free and happy, just waiting for you. im so sorry Violet.

Got two eggs today. Raspberry is still wanting real eggs to sit on. I can't give her eggs until I get all the eggs I need, I only have have one from marshmallow, and one from dot/pebbles. And marshmallow keeps getting out of her pen when she is not supposed to so Pumpkin might be the father instead of huckleberry.
