~ Violin For Sale ~

Lloyd Henry -- you let me know if that someone would like to have it for themselves. I would rather someone else enjoy it rather than it collecting dust, (which it doesn't really get dusty).

Well I finally tracked the fiddle player down. He already has 2 and was not interested but did say your price was was very fair. I wished I had the extra money I would buy it. Have to finish the chicken coop, wiring in lights and outlets, installing air conditioner and a power ventilation system. Anyway sorry I took so long getting back to you and sorry that I just can't afford it right now

Hi!

I'm just curious, and don't want to raise false hopes... I'm wondering when you last re-haired the bow. Also, what condition is the case in? Oh, and IF you remember, when were the strings last replaced? It looks like a beautiful violin and I'm toying (emphasizing "toying") with the idea of keeping a second violin. My violin bow is in *desperate* need of re-hairing and thanks to a once-overly-curious daughter, I have to have a hairline crack near the frog glued (not a critical thing, but should be done before the problem gets worse - like tooth decay

). My case is awful and I have to lay a towel over the bridge of my violin before closing the case so that my violin doesn't rattle around inside so much. All of these things put together (re-stringing, re-hairing, gluing, new case, and a new chin rest) would probably end up costing me well over $125.

Like I said, I don't mean to get your hopes up... I'm not REALLY looking for another violin, but you've piqued my interest with this post.

Thanks!

How old is the violin? Who is the manufacturer?
Thanks,
BJ
