Having just spent a lot of time seeding our pasture, I've been having to send the dog out quite a bit to chase off the Canadian geese who are now congregating in large numbers and eating all the seed and sprouts. On one of our rounds I noticed a small flock of geese in the South pasture that looked different, even from a distance, so I pulled Eve, my dog, back and ran off to grab a camera. I've had a hard time capturing these guys on camera because they are extremely flighty, but yesterday I finally got a few shots:

I believe these are Greater White Fronted Geese:

Nice!!! Now you're going to have to get a camera with a telephoto lens so you can take wildlife pictures for us. [IMG]

Quote:Very nice! The flock we had, they have since moved on, consisted of about 15.

And yes, I wish I had a telephoto lense [IMG]
