Out of curiosity, why not go through a t-shirt printing site? you don't get all the profits but in the long run you'd make more since there'd be more orders (due to variety) and much quicker too.

We've thought about this quite a bit, but have had experience with cafepress before and found that their costs are too high, especially for the quality of shirts they provide. These types of sites do have some pros (print on demand, unlimited choices, etc.) but the cons (cost, quality, lack of control of the items, can't combine shipments with other items in our store, etc.) just outweigh the pros.

haha... well, it's tempting! Especially because trying to please hundreds of people all with different preferences is impossibly frustrating (and why I haven't ordered new shirts in like 2 years).
