Wacko Geko Quilt Block Swap-SIGN-UP CLOSED

It shouldn't matter....no matter which position you sew it on all you do is rotate the square for them to be alike. It's a cute pattern. I hope you'll all try it. That's how we learn is to practice and this is a fun way to do it.

Guess what I did today? I fused the geko's onto the 12 1/2 squares.

Now I can start appliqueing. I won't get to start that until next week after my company leaves. I was able to get two gekos per fat quarter and still have fabric left over for another project. Wish I lived closer to Joann's. The nearest one is 76 miles from here. I was supposed to finish priming the new gate today but it was too windy and cold and looked like rain so while I was doing laundry I worked on the gekos. Rain is coming in though so I may or may not get to work on it tomorrow. It's supposed to be spring and we've been planting veggies and flowers and then it turned cold again and snow levels have dropped to 4,000 feet so the passes will probably close.

I'm thinking cream color, that way it goes with the batik and wilds, seems more earth and natural tones in batiks to give it a wild look might be in store for this.
