Walmart feed

Spartacus....I didn't watch the video yet, but I live in Amish country and there are lots of things they buy that would surprise you! I see them at walmart all the time. The mennonites especially. They post ads on craigslist. They always post a phone number and when you call, its like a main number for the whole community. They always call back and they do great work! Their lumberyards are amazing! They do have electric.....but they use a generator.

I grew up in Amish country and farmed next to and with. Had them build barns and the like. Have even given a few rides when they wanted to go to a sale out of state. In regard to the video, it was obvious to me that it was a professional production aimed at giving Wal*Mart a bad name. It just struck me as funny that they would involve the Amish in their scheme when it was apparent to me that they probably were not all that familiar with the business that the Amish conduct. They also emphasized the patriotic aspects of the Mom & Pops being put out of business.

Tranoble potatoes, I dont care who ya are now thats funny

Punched in four zip codes in different states - mine, my last residence, and 2 other places where relatives live. Of those, only one Wal-mart "might" carry the feed within 50 miles of any of those places. (The site says availability unknown.) There are dozens of Walmarts within 50 miles of those four places, so...

I would not step into a Walmart considering they are just another globalist mega corporation selling crap made with chinese slave labor.

And now the TSA are installing "1984" style telescreens at the checkout telling you to spy on people around you.

Check out Alex Jones discussing this.

Buy local and fight the mega corporations. We had all better come together and stop these corporations who are now trying to pass legislation to put small farmers out of business (so we all buy the garbage out of Cargill and Monsanto)

One more open parking space and one less to worry about in the check out lines while I'm supporting my American brother workers and purchasing mostly American made produce & products. To each, their own.

Ha.. Amen to this!! Sorry, I like to get the most I can for my money. And if that mean shopping at Wal-Mart (which it does) then that's what I do. None of it's killed me yet!!

Our local Wal-Mart sells chicken feed, cracked corn, horse feed, & cattle feed. I've never bought it before! I like the fact that my feed store loads it all up for me.

I'm sorry but I refuse to spend $20+ on chicken feed. I mean come on their chickens for goodness sakes. They will eat a worm out of their own & others poo, they eat mice, snakes, etc.!! They will drink out the nastiest puddle if they choose too. So sorry I just don't feel the need to be that particular. I do not link them in the same column as my dogs but then again my chickens are livestock my dogs are my pets! But hey if you have the money to throw away on the little vultures so be it!! I don't.

I really got a kick out of an post not to long ago where someone asked if something would be okay to feed their chickens and someone posted they would check the perservative, msg, salt etc.

Holy cow I don't even check that stuff for myself let alone my chickens.

There went the overseas grain argument, lol. Grain from the USA you say? LOL

Just because it is "made" in the USA, doesn't mean some ingredients didn't come from overseas. This is a problem & organic is no exception. Many organic ingredients including human food come from China, which I would not trust. I asked the question to Nature's Best Feed & never got an answer. We have no clue what all gets imported period, and our government is no help on the issue.

I see chicken and various livestock feeds at one nearby Walmart (Mt. Sterling, KY), but none of the others (Winchester, Richmond, Lexington). They probably stock it based on demographics or extension service data.

I didn't buy it because it was the same price as at TSC and the bags looked old and beat up. Not enough turnover apparently.

I remember seeing some very disturbing video about chicken meat (Regulated? Who knows?) from China, processed and sold in Walmart's freezer section. NO THANKS! What's wrong with American raised poultry....
