Out of a 15 egg incubation....

11 hatched.... out of those 11 ducklings....

10 are still alive and are 3 months old....

out of those 10.... 1 quacks... thats what i get for "wanting just a 'few' more hens".... this straight run thing is a sham...

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!! That made me spit some of my coffee out! And yes i am 13 drinking coffee at 10:30 at night..what better do i have to do??

I so hear you- I think with the ducklings I have 6/6 hens

but with the chickens that I hatched it looks like 4/5 are roosters and I put in a TON of eggs just to get out those 5. I need to try again soon but am a bit heart broken with the results so far. I did end up putting 30 duck eggs in the incubator because I have been letting them stack up a nest in hopes that someone would go broody- no one took the bait and I didn't think I could let it go any further.
