Wannabe chicken farmer here :)

Welcome to our addiction! :hugs

I’m betting if you succeed in hatching half those eggs you’re gonna need a bigger coop. :) My coop (4’x8’) was too small before I even got my 17 chickens in the mail (ordered min of 15, got 17 in the box). :lau All the pre-made ones I’ve seen are pretty scanty on indoor real estate. I think this is because they have to be both portable AND cute. And affordable.

It’s okay, though, as long as it’s not TOO small, and so long as they spend most of their waking hours in the sun. :frow

Congrats on getting your chicken adventure started!

Starter advice: I'd be here all night writing a book!
But I can leave you some links to my favorite articles about brooding and coop essentials, should keep you reading for a while:

Last bit: You'll definitely need a bigger coop than you think you ever will. Somehow, everyone just wants to keep adding more chickens! A coop for 15 birds should be at least 6'x10' but you'd probably really be better off with 10x10 or 10x12, and outdoor space of about 150-300 square feet.

Well, good luck with all that and hope you have a successful hatch!
