Want to hatch along? My first incubation :0) Lockdown tomorrow 9-3-11

His name is Hayes! I will tell him that people all over the country are praying for him! What state are you from? He will get a kick out of that. He has just started learning his states in school.

Tell Hayes that I'm from South Carolina and right in the middle of it (almost). I know he's going to be just fine and will be cheering him on.

So sorry about your son. I had a friend who had a grand mal seizure when she was a teen. She hadn't had one before that or one since. They decided it was strobe lights that set it off. Maybe and hopefully it is something like that for your son too. Hopefully he was just around something that triggered it like my friend and he will never have to have one again. I will keep my fingers crossed that is the case. Again, I am so sorry I know you must have been scared out of your mind.

So turned out I think I let my humidity get a little to low. I think I let it drop to around 58. After about 6 hours of no movement I bumped up the humidity to 65 about an hours after that chicks started popping out like popcorn. LOL!!!

I can see two more beaks poking out of eggs and I don't think we are done yet. I think it is safe to say they were fertile.

Guess I worried over nothing.

So what do I do if day three of a chick being in the incubator comes and I still have some hatching??? I have to get him out of there and get it food and water but, I don't want to shrink wrap some of the others. What do you do when this happens.

Sorry! Didn't get a chance to post the pics today. I will add them tomorrow! Promise! They are getting cuter by the minute. I'll try and take some new shots to add so you can see the new wing feathers coming in.

Worrying over them is half the fun! Should've seen me and DH hovering over my two eggs in the incubator when Irene came visiting. Poor things were never alone! Wasn't a whole lot easier using a broody, just I knew someone was on duty with them 24-7!

Congrats on your babies!! Pictures please!! I never get tired of pics of other people's birds...helps me figure out what I want next. Except for turkens. Reminds me what I don't want...poor turkens.
