of course I've lived all over the country so I'm not sure where I picked that phrase-ology up at...

growing up we called that "food other people's mother's made for them on TV" and had no idea that kind of breakfast was for real !!!!

I never heard of this until I was well into my 30's. My mother in law calls it a spit in the ocean...which really doesn't make sense now does it???

This is sort of funny, all the different names for the same food. We called it Cowboy Egg.

They showed this twice in V for Vendetta! It always makes me think of that movie now. "Eggie in a Basket" I think they called it.

I loved the idea of making French toast with the bread while frying the egg inside the hole. I always need ways of using more eggs!
