Wanted: Celadon Egg PICTURES

Who on eBay?

I think they were called raven testing or something. They were ok, the eggs were lost in the mail for like 6 extra days, and they were unwilling to assist me. They told me I had to contact the post office, and when I did, I needed all this info from the seller and it was like pulling teeth to get it.

If you wanna live dangerously I can mail you an unmarked box of eggs lol.

Thank you! I printed the tray from a file on thingiverse. But it’s not great, the holes are too small, and I haven’t had stellar hatches since I started using it. Halfway thru this hatch I moved the eggs to my brinsea because I had marked them and several weren’t turning with their neighbors.

The color is very distinctly blue, more like a songbird egg. My EEs never had blues quite as saturated and pretty as these. The kids got a huge kick out of them.

I have 3 that lay celadon eggs that I got from Hatch Poultry, yes I know that's a swear word around here but I got lucky. I'll post pics tonight when I gather the eggs.

This was my first celadon egg. I got mine from someone a couple hours drive away from me who has them. They hatch about 80-85% celadon layers.

Even a broken clock shows the right time twice a day right haha. You got lucky!

@Kiki. I had this one speckled blue egg in the box. The pic doesn’t show it well but it was blue. I watched this egg for so long after it pipped so I could see the chick but it hatched over night with a Wild and an Egyptian so I have no idea which one it is. I don’t know if y’all want to call it celadon but here it is.

@Kiki, I gotta look thru my boxes, we painted quail eggs I blew out, for Easter, instead of traditional chicken egg coloring, I’ll find them and take a pic, the celadons are great for it!
