I will be alittle behind my are due to hatch on july1, i have 18 frizzled bantams.Hope i get some to hatch this is my first try at this all i want to do is stay in front of the bator and at night i wake up and have to check the temp to make sure all is well. I would also like to know when i can candle.

I have my own they are pullets and I and trying to get incubating down pat and check fertility...

How long between pip and zip with Silkie eggs? At about 9:30 last night I had 3 eggs that were starting to pip. At 4:30 this morning one had pipped enough that I could see what color it was and the other two look exactly the same. I heard peeping a few times although IMO it sounded a little weak. Since that time there has been no change at all. I'm at work now so I don't know what's going on. I really need some reassurace right about now.
