Wanting To Blend 2 Flocks

i have 2 flocks going both are next to each other with only 1 inch mesh seperationg them my main pen is for egg layers i have 5 americanas 1 year olds 4 reds 10 monthes old and 1 austerlop rosster

now i would like to add 5 more americanas that i have raised since hatch the will be 4 monthes on aug 1st the maine consern is for the rooster to start jumping them should that be an issue

I may be more cautious than most, but I merge flocks by having them gradually more and more time together each day, separating them with any show of violence, or when I no longer have time to supervise them. Generally, I do not put them together permanently until the younger ones are adult size or starting to lay. The roo will probably be delighted with fresh, young, fertile layers.
