Warm Oatmeal FAIL

So, I decided to give my 2 week old chicks a special treat today... warm oatmeal. Haha..all they did was shake their heads and walk in it..

I haven't given them anything other than chick feed, I tried a piece of romaine lettuce, that too, walked on it and then 3 of them pooped on it!

Goodness!

Any suggestions?

I give the plain yogurt and scrambled eggs.

Maybe I will try that this weekend.. After the oatmeal fail, not really ready to have them look at me like I am crazy....
