WARNING GRAPHIC SWOLLEN EYE HELP

Alright so we have a hen here with one side of her face extremely swollen so my question is what is it and how do i fix it or would it just be kinder to cull her we have her in isolation with terimyacin but it hasnt been helping really :/ please help and help is greatly appreciated

While waiting for someone else more experience in this to post, make sure none of the others are pecking her eye, and also if there's discharge, gently wash her eye.

Is she having nasal drainage, sneezing, gasping, or any pus in her eye? Does it smell rotten? She could have a respiratory disease with a sinus infection from MG or coryza. There also could be an eye infection from pecking or a foreign body in the eye. Lastly it could be a tumor, but if she has respiratory symptoms, it is progably one of the two diseases. Sick birds usually don't drink medicated water well, so you might try giving Tylan 50 injectable orally 1/4 ml twice a day for 5 days. Or you could try giving the Terramycin orally in a concentrated form, and make sure that she drinks water.

She was having nasal drainage for a time and is currently gasping as well as her eye is weeping it doesnt have a smell and its almost squishy so it must be a disease her poop is normal and her crop is full so she must be eating we can buy the tylan 50 tommorow but in the mean time is terrimyacin ok
