No, some of the people on this thread was saying good stuf. Some of the tractor supplies are bad some are good.

Well, our local TSC are very knowledgeable on chicks & I had just hatched EE's 1 ½ weeks before I made an impulse buy, but I too was looking to add to my flock, i fellnin love with Lavender orphingtons, but whenni finally got the OK, they were gone, so I still wanted to add & bought 4 silkies! Wow I have not heard 1good thing about tractor supplys chicks I have a Rural King that is my local feed store and they are great the chicks are always healthy and well taken care of fresh food and water bedding is mostly clean no pasty butts very nice knowledgeable of the breeds and most of the time are correct on the sex of the chicks you should email tractor supply and give them what for

Yeah, the lady who takes care of the fowl at our local TSC has chickens of her own. We chit chat every now and then when I go in there. She tried to talk me getting a few Bantam chicks they had today actually lol.
But she seems to take good care of them and doesn’t just put them in the tub and walk away. I’ve seen her before hovering over the chicken area keeping an eye on them before.

Does that mean they are back in supply? When I got my chicks in Apr, I asked for 3 BR pullets (all turned out to be cockerels) and 3 Black Asians.. all 3 were Black Sex Linked. Only got 1 pullet out of 6. So far I hear it's pretty common with TSC. I think they should really choose a different hatchery with all the problems they are having.

Plenty of TSCs are great at chick care. Unfortunately people only point out bad things

See with the one closest to me all there are are bad tings to point out. I'm not saying all tractor supplys are bad im saying some are. The other ones about a half hour away are good with chick care. But why go 30 mins when I can go 10?

I did as well, and got no response in over 2 months. Also complained about forage seed they were selling to seed an area I cleared last year.. Zero germination, plenty of sunshine and rain, but nothing came up.

Because You don't care for how they are at the closer one. If you truly insist that it's a bad store, don't support it by going to the further one

But see the thing is if you were selling eggs and you had 50 customers per day would you stop selling eggs if 10 of them stopped buying? And I dont go there ofen to buy chicks. but my point is why should I have to take an hour long round trip when if they took care of them properly I coukd take a 20min round trip.

It said 2 business days so should get a response Friday. If not I'm calling amd asking for the manager.
