It's that time of year again. Looks like a coon got into my rooster pen there are so many white feathers all over the place.

I actually believed that one of my chickens had been killed by a predator! So many feathers!

I fell for this twice, down there trying to figure out who got murdered. This year I have a mixed flock and can count much faster.3 of this, 2 of them and so forth. One time when I was a kid I had 22 RSL and was trying to count and see if any were missing.Then a couple years ago I went out and saw feathers from a distance and panicked.​

So that is who a couple of my BO have white feathers peeping out from their golden feathers. I just learned something new today.

My Angel is having her first molt.... She looks so funny, but i feel soooo bad for her. It's got to be uncomfortable.

Warranty running out isn't fun......I'm sure my expiration date has passed and just losing feathers sounds pretty good actually.
