I've never heard of a brown Sussex. If it was a Sussex, it would have white legs, not yellow. I agree with @sourland about that one... it does look like a RIR or Production redSourland...I was wondering the same thing about the breed. They were sold as brown Sussex at the local farm supply store...I don't mind though, but it would be nice to know what they actually are.
