Washington Feather Fanciers Show Chehalis, WA Nov 17-18 Also birds that are being brought for sale

In the current edition 2010, it says:

DISQUALIFICATIONS

Wings:

(c) All Breeds Waterfowl, except Canada and Egyptian Geese; and Muscovy, East Indie, Call and Mallard Ducks

1. Primary or secondary feathers clipped.

Note--Pinioned wings if smoothly healed are acceptable.

I believe the exception if you read it correctly is for the Canadians and Egyptians. Muscovys, etc are listed in addition to all waterfowl for some reason.
Oops! Sorry if I gave anyone false hope

I havent clipped the younger ducks yet, but the one I realy wanted to show has been clipped.. if not, hed have flown the coop ages ago...

I'm planning on attending and if I'm brave enough I might bring one or two birds to show because I've never shown before. I have a beautiful English Orpington pullet and a pretty Silkie pullet I'd like to bring. I just need to study some so I can figure how to prep them for a show.
And just what kind of box do I bring a giant Orpington girl in? I don't think I have anything large enough - she's FLUFFY!
I'm nervous about it!

Dana, I like rubbermaid totes, with big holes cut in them (not so big they can stick their heads through and scratch their combs) plus they are dark, and it keeps the birds calmer.
