The others are Marans and very hard to see sow we're just gonna let them ride. Silkies and 1/2 th Marans are eBay eggs all this is part of K's science experiment.

Is it best to get starts or will seeds take ok?

Thank you for all the seed suggestions! They are all places I haven't looked at yet.

I am doing much better. Headache is almost gone today. Body aches from the fall are also much better. I have been reading posts as much as I can to keep up. But I was told not to use my computer. Too much focus, hurt my head. Back on today. It is such a pain in the ***** to post from my phone. Thanks for asking!

Not sure I remember all that's been going on in the last few days, so hope I didnt miss anything too important. If I did I am sorry.

I finally bought one of those round chick feeders that you screw a mason jar onto. Then when I got home I realized my standard mouth mason jars are only 8oz! LOL!! So now I need to get to the thrift store and find a quart mason jar with a standard mouth opening. Doh!
I did the SAME thing! Then I couldn't find a quart jar to save my life. lol...

Well I was considering it but got a call about some people that are moving and have a large amount of scrap metal they need removed. $orry peep$ but its all about $$$. I spend a few bucks to drive to Tacoma and meet more chicken buddies or I spend a few hours local and make more $$$. Oh and did I mention getting free KFC dinner to boot.

Hi All

I'd really like to get your help. I thought I'd found a source for a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana that would lay a blue egg, not green. But...

So now I'm on the search again. I contacted Jean (pip & peeps) and she won't have any at the Monroe show, nor will Royce (tailfeathers).

So, my wish list is 1) Blue egg 2) good layer 3) about 3-4 months old 4) a blue wheaten would be the icing on the cake.

She'll be strictly a layer since I don't breed or show.

PLEEEEZE Rescue Me, I'm soooo frustrated with this search! Thank You!!!!
Unfortunately this may be the wrong time of year for any breeders to have birds of that age or breed. I understand you want to have one asap, but if you want something that specific you might have to wait.

Ooh! I love honeysuckle! Maybe I could get a few starts of the honey suckle from you next time we meet up or at the show in March if you are coming?

I'm planning on pruning my Honeysuckle today. I'll save some starts in case anyone wants. I'm not sure how well the start from winter cuttings, but it can't hurt to try.

The flowers look like this, but I am not sure of the exact variety, off the top of my head.

If anyone has advice on what to do with the starts, plz let me know.
