You must have missed the VW Bus made into a coop -- it was for sale last year -- I think he was asking 1300 for it.

funny thing.....I was looking at some of the BYC members pics here a couple weeks ago and saw the old fashioned hard-shell yellow tent camper someone was giving away on CL a few months ago. I was actually trying to convince the DH to go get to make into a chicken camper . Great minds think alike! (Now I GOTTA meet CarolynF! )

I actually wanted the VW bus. I love all things VW, but hubs would not have appreciated it at all. I thought it was great!! I guess that is the inner hippie in me.

I would have been all over a VW bus made into a chicken coop. Now I am going to google for a picture- surely someone has one......

I forget who mentioned Madrona, but I love it too!
We combed Titlow beach for the perfect roosting branch for the girls' coop and found a Madrona that eroded off the bank, best roost ever.

Robin, those old Oak Trees have got to be BEAUTIFUL! Hope you can find a place that will mill that branch.

I love the redneck chicken coop! Way to up-cycle!

So, it was gorgeous out there on Saturday, and because I want to cheer myself up (it is a year today my brother died), here are some pics and a video of the kids and chickens, enjoying the weather

Those are 100 year old Lilac trees in our yard! I cannot wait until they bloom next month, our yard is going to smell like Heaven, Lilac and Jasmine
