Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I am planning on cutting my work day short today or tomorrow and getting out in the garden with my shovel.

I'm wondering if anyone wants some evening primrose and/or a perinneal sunflower.

If you are not familiar, the evening primrose I have is quite possibly the happiest yellow flower I've ever seen. It can get invasive, hence the abundance to share!

My perinneal sunflower is huge, at least 6 feet. If you've been to my house at the right time--it's that magnificent plant that's covered in bright yellow daisy like flowers next to the garage. I have at least one, maybe two.

I may have raspberries and strawberries; need to get out there first and see what's out of control

.

I could bring them to Monroe; I'll probably get there around 11 a.m.
I want your sunflowers! I saw them last fall, they were beautiful! You know I'll take any plants you have. I'm not familiar with evening primrose (other than the oil ;) ) but the pictures online look like little yellow flowers? I would love strawberries, but probably not raspberries (are the invasive and/or thorny? I don't have a good place for them right now I don't think)

I also use Amazon.com and really like it. I usually order enough at one time I get "free" shipping. I really hate having to run here and there just to find what I want and sometimes after I get there (even if I call ahead to verify) they are "out of stock". Wasted time and wasted gas. Plus, like most people I also buy things on impulse. Not as bad as I use to be, but still.......So using Amazon, I reduce the "impulse" items.
I also buy my books on line, cooking tools, my guitar strings, picks and other accessories as needed.

I ordered a wok that I wanted and it said 18", and I thought that would be a very nice size as me and #1 son like oriental stuff and when #3 son comes to visit I would have a wok big enough for the entire family.
Holy moley Batman, was that thing HUGE. Way too big. Hammered steel, hand made in China, and very nice. #3 son now has it for cooking at his Elk Camp each year.

Hey Mikey! My DH plays guitar (and bass, and drums, and keyboards) too! We've everything set up for an instant rock band in the house for when friends come and want to jam. For Christmas, I bought him some cool cooking implements on Amazon- go look these up and check them out:
Gama-Go Guitar Spatula
Kikkerland Rockin Wooden Spoons

Got this, Kim! I'm assuming you'd like the 1oz eco-tube - let me know if you'd prefer the 4oz stainless tub or a loose bar

You're sweet!

Anyone else for lotion bars or liquid soap - let me know what scent you'd like.
Lavender, peppermint, oatmeal milk & honey, turkish mocha, cranberry & fig, pineapple & cilantro, pomegranate & black currant, bonsai, white magnolia, tropical wedding, etc. (those are the ones I can recall off the top of my head!) see my etsy shop for more!

dawng: I've been out in the garden every chance I get and, same as last year, your lotion bars are saving my hands. THANK YOU!!!!

There's a lot of new people on this forum that probably don't know about your amazing product line.
If anyone out there - guys or girls - has dry skin or dry cuticles, you've got to try Dawn's lotion bars.
They come in different scents but mostly I use the unscented.
Between the chicken chores and my garden, my hands were just a mess.
For the first time ever, my hands are fine.
Her soaps are terrific, too, and smell divine.
Glad you're bringing products to Monroe!
