Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Wilco does, but I don't know if its just our store or if its all of them.

Edit: if BA stands for Black Australorps I would contact Kevin Noorlander through the PNPA. He has beautiful Australorps.
TY! Yes, Black Australorps. Would that be the Wilco in Gig Harbor?
I went to the PNPA website but they only have a temporary directory with a few folks on it. I did not see Kevin Noorlander.
Is he on BYC? Thanks again. ~Dee~

Hello Everybody.

Does anyone know of any business that orders their chicks from Privett Hatchery? I was planning to buy 3 BA pullet chicks Friday but my Co-Op cancelled their order for 50. Said they have 200 chicks leftover from the last order and don't have room for more. So it really screwed up my plans. They won't order BA's for another month but I don't want to wait that long. Plus now I don't have a lot of faith in them as that is the second time they changed their ordering plans on me. Any help is really appreciated. Thank you! ~Dee~
yes, Iron Horse Hay and Feed (in Maple Valley) orders from Privitt hatchery. They had about 100 chicks and some assorted ducks when I was there today picking up my lab's grain free dog food. The ducks were so cute, I almost got one, but one would be lonely and then you'd need two, and hubby would clobber me....

I've been meaning to tell you about something really weird that happened a few days ago. I was sitting on the floor in front of the chick's pen, holding one of the chicks. On the other side of the pen is a set of French Doors. All of a sudden a hawk comes plunging out of no where, feet extended in front, ready to make a grab! At the last moment he pulls up and his claws just barely touch the window glass. So I'm staring at his red breast feathers and his feet for a split second before he flies off to the neighbors yard. This hawk thought he was going to nab a couple of juicy little chicks! Wow... I've never been that close to an attacking bird. I'm so lucky we were in the house with the doors closed!

Isn't it freaky? I was in the middle of an eagle attack last month and it was terrifying, they're huge!!
