Managed to come home, start dinner, take the wee-ones outside for a good ol' fashioned dirt digging, inspired by my 20 month old girl, picked up by all of the boys!! ....only to find a giant crater dug out by my 12 year old.... Where's a farm on 20+ acres when you need one?
Tossed the doggy his baby (a stuffy lamb) for a good 30 minutes, now he's asleep hard while I'm finishing dinner. The chickens got to scratch around outside their fancy-shmancy new run and the SUN IS STILL SHINING!!!!Happy dance!!
I have to admit, I was a little sentimental watching the kids play. I just want them to stay this way forever

Maybe, I just think of what my mother had to go through loosing my brother, it makes me want to keep them safe at home forever, but then I realize...Bubble Boy just wasn't happy....

Been a bit crazy around here! Plus my laptop was being used downstairs and I have been trapped upstairs!Oh well!
Hope everyone gets a chance to get outside in these next couple days! Looks like it is going to be gorgeous! It is killing me that I have empty pots sitting on my front porch and have not bought flowers to plant in them! All the flower beds in the yard have been weeded (thank you DBF) and are screaming at me to make them beautiful! AAAAAA!!!!!
