Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Putting the word out again just incase anyone missed it over the holiday weekend….
Next Sat. I will be making the loop from Pip&peeps, Spokane area, over through Cle Elum, down to Black Diamond and Enumclaw, then over to I-5 via Puyallup.
If anyone would like to contribute to gas, we would be happy to transport items of reasonable size. lol
We would do the drop anywhere along I-5 from Lakewood south to Chehalis.
We have a Yukon XL. We will have two large dog carriers in there but could fit two large and possibly multiple small ones as well.
PM if you need anything transported. :)

Jean has other things for sale as well. She has a link a few pages back.

I spent my Memorial Day getting my starter coop up, now I just need two ladies to occupy it. The search for chicks or chickens begins!
pettec63 is over your way in Outlook, maybe she has some nice hens, or RareFeathersFarm...who also has a web site, in Pleasant Valley.
Then there is pips&peeps out that way also.
Good luck !
I could not pick just 2 !

Spent all weekend getting the temporary grow out pen up, 7 week olds moved, fresh coat of paint in the old coop, brooders cleaned and put away, gardens planted, etc and I have the bumps and bruises to prove it

Now back to "work" today!
Me too !
And I have been re-caulking, re-priming & painting all the coops here cuz DH (einstein) made them out of OSB despite my telling him it would ROT in a year.

And it did, so has to be replaced.

Actually, RareFeathers is way up north near Okanogan. If you're in the mood for a shorter drive give some serious consideration to getting a couple of birds from Pips & Peeps via the upcoming trip BroodyTood just mentioned! She has very good quality birds. Two of her Ameraucanas would make a nice start for you... or any two of her birds. If you met BroodyTood in along I-90 or in Cle Elum it would be time well spent for a good beginning to your flock.

I have my chicks! Behold, unnamed auracana and unnamed Rhodes Island Red. They're acclimating to their new home right now. Should it make me nervous when they're quiet? They peeped all the way home from the feed store and now that they're settling in they're being really chill.

Time to post more gardens photos, or something.
It is getting downright boring here !

OK conversation starters...now it is up to YOU to post something too !

My GD has two JG pullets growing out from the eggs we got from you at the Monroe show - one blue & one black. I will try to get pictures up of them in the next day or two.

Where on earth did you find an Araucana ?

Oh yes, babies will sleep...they will often just stop, drop & go to sleep just like any other babies, puppies, kittens, human babies~~~~~~
