We used to get birds that were drunk on pyracantha berries flying into windows.

DH asked if they were drunk earlier lol

We get starlings that come down the chimney. Well had for the last several years. I think Athena as eaten all the ones that would stick around the property now (good dog!). Haven't had many birds fly into the windows. 

Those birds are the worst! Good thing you have Athena!

My parents have at least one wild bird fly into there back sliding patio door every other year and die. No cracks, or marks after the 20+ years they have lived there.

Our cat kills more birds and other rodents more then birds hit windows where we live : ) Gotta love presents on the patio!

Our cats love it when the birds make it easy for them. They always leave us parts... Never the whole thing. DH stopped stepping outside without shoes on. You only need to get innards inbetween your toes once! Lol

I just wish I had my chicken run built so I could get some chickens! ...and who knows when that's going to happen. Have to find some contractors that have time.

I need to know if/when you're available for the Meet Up. Please tell me Yes or No for the following days.
It will be in the afternoon, 1pm - 4pm, near the Kitsap Fairgrounds.
Nothing fancy... coffee, tea, and a couple of snacks. Keeping this VERY Simple and in the back yard if weather permits.

We have a Black copper marans, I want to replace her with a golden chuckoo.

Argh! We had the new run design done and the cut list ready. Went to the nearest Home Depot and got our lumber all loaded up and got in line to have it cut. So exciting! The line was looong and we finally made it to second in line when the machine seized up
They only have one, so we left our "run" in the carts and will have to come back once it's fixed. I was so pumped!

I guess that gives me a day or two to do more tweaking

Urgh. I'm sending my husband to live with @Chickielady so he can get all the canned fish he wants. I'm on my first batch of canned tuna that I've ever done. Makes my back hurt to stand over stuff for so long.
