Argh! We had the new run design done and the cut list ready. Went to the nearest Home Depot and got our lumber all loaded up and got in line to have it cut. So exciting! The line was looong and we finally made it to second in line when the machine seized up

I didn't touch it. It may use electricity but I had nothing to do with that machine breaking.

Urgh. I'm sending my husband to live with @Chickielady
 so he can get all the canned fish he wants. I'm on my first batch of canned tuna that I've ever done. Makes my back hurt to stand over stuff for so long. 

That's hard work for sure! I got just a small taste of the process last week with Janelle. They did 300 pounds!! I haven't opened a jar yet, but I'm looking forward to tasting it.

Only raccoon and deer butts on the game cam so far. Bear prints all over my porch, but I sacrificed my trash this week to save the chickens, lol.

I got one olive egg layer out of this years chicks. The rest were Roos. I now have expanded my flock to have BCM and CLBs. As well as a few EEs. Will be incubating the eggs very soon, in order of have olive eggers in the spring!

I would've too! Our black bears just eat the berries on the back of the property we haven't had a coop issue that I know of. (Knocked on wood!)

Check with Chickielady,(Raymond) i bought 2 from her last fall. real pretty olive eggs. think 4-hmom (Monroe) may have some. Think there were some on Craigslist a week or so ago, Snohomish area.

CCL farms in yelm has hatching eggs. I hope to have some OEs laying by spring.
