Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Ok, so my 2 indoor cats have come down with FLEAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW >??
The dog is outdoors, but gets Frontline ALWAYS and has all his shots & stool samples....no fleas or parasites~~~~~~~~~
The dog NEVER comes in the house, either.
So I figure we must have picked up fleas at someone's house we were visiting, and brought the fleas home ????????????????????????

So, cats have had Top Spot, and I vacuum every single day & dust mop the hardwood every day if not twice a day...and so far we humans have no bites.
BUT, I found flea eggs & poops on my computer chair, my art table chair, the couch sleep spots the cats love...the window sills, and their bedding...lots and lots of eggs, and that does not include however many zillions were on the floor and/or carpets.
I vacuumed again.
So now I am thinking of steeping rosemary, making a tea, and spraying everything but that would only repell...
So, any recommendations from anyone of something I have not done yet aside from the flea bath (I will not do that to these cats, they will KILLME!) please let us all know what YOU do to KILL fleas on your carpets & furniture.
Okee Dokee ?

Wow!...how did he walk with those things?
Poor guy.
I would never know how to trim those if I got a rooster.
I'm glad that I just have hens.

Say, will dogs eat those spurs like they do with horses hooves when they get trimmed?
My dog used to love eating my horse's hooves when I brought them home.

They stick out the back. He's never had an issue. I never bothered doing anything to his because he's not a danger to people. You would not believe how mellow this guy is.

I actually tried to remove that specific spur a few weeks ago because it's so curved and was only about half a centimeter away from his leg. I used pliers and apparently am not strong enough or wasn't twisting right. I didn't bother trying the other one after that.

It's time to take care of Louie's again. Now he IS a danger as he's spurred me in the past. His are short enough to soften with the potato method though.

I haven't had issues with fleas indoors for almost two decades so I'm not much help. I have peppermint planted around the back steps (since we only use the back) since it's supposed to deter many insects including fleas. I um may have dug up a bit to much mint this last spring, so it wasn't as good a crop this year (I love mint tea.)

I just thought of something, what about rodents? I hate to mention it, but they're sneaky and carry lots of fleas.

Now that there is hilarious!

Him pouting is normal if he gets hurt. I cuddled him for a bit since that makes him feel better. Yes I have a rooster that turns back into a baby when hurt. He has to act manly in front of the hens, but even normally if I take him in the house where they can't see he will cuddle. Not feeling good just makes him not care about the hens.

Lol. I've had more than one chicken that I wish had life expectancy like macaw parrots rather that 6 yrs max.
