Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Quote: I will be In Anacortes. I need to remember the area.... It is about 10 miles from Seattle, i think? thats where the shop is anyway, the cabin is another 3 miles north-ish, on the sea-line. There is an island, i dont know if it has a name, but when the tide is low we can walk to it . Okay, drag ourselves through fish guk to it. I'll have to google map's it right quick.

I do know that washington is definitely the most beautiful place iv'e ever been. I went up last summer to visit my aunt and uncle, and decided it was where i wanted to live.

Hello all! Im a new-is chicken owner, I've had them since August of last year. I will be moving out of AZ, my current location, in two years, and i am hoping to get some Info about the Anacortes area, and chicken-owning laws there. I'm hoping to own a farm a few years after having lived there, with a stable job to save up, and of course, pay for simple commodities until then (I.E. - rent, bills, fooooooddddd) .

Would anyone be able to tell me the laws for owning chickens in Skagit County? Preferably near where the water is. I am hoping to rent a cabin fro my aunt, with only half an acre, right on the beach. Legit, the water level goes down, and the island across from us, we can walk to it through that awesome clay-mud-fish remains.

Here is the ordinances for Anacortes:http://www.cityofanacortes.org/document_center/Ordinances/2010-2019/Ord2823.pdf
