Thanks! NO, they haven't touched it at all! They think it looks pretty though and are always commenting on it. They're good boys and I can't see them touching it without asking.

I've taken 2 percocet and am still miserable. The only thing I've had to eat today are 3 Shakeology shakes to cleanse myself of the gluten I let slip over the last few days. HOping Percocet #2 kicks in soon. I'll take a pic of me and DH before we leave and post it; it's not too often I dress to the nine like now

Sorry about your headache. I've got one coming on myself. Big Dislike!!!!

And I think I need one of those skelters on my Christmas list this year!!!!

IT was not one of the most fun days at a show for me. Given the amount of discomfort and redness STILL there I think I need to do a follow up with an eye doc tomorrow.

NO Sorry I wasn't focused enough to remember Yoda until it was too late! Business was decent and I believe I will be getting a couple of custom orders soon from this weekend .

Jess The 2 percocet are ok but if ya really wanna get rd of the head ache add a little shot (8oz) of Snake River Stampede (whiskey) on ice. That is the near perfect makins fer comfortably numb.

Not to be a total party pooper, but please don't take percocet with alcohol! I get nasty allergy/migraine/death headaches, too, but let's keep the "death" part non-literal!

(Don't wanna step on Chicken Rustler's toes. Really like his posts. They keep this place fun!)

Sorry about your eye! That sucks! I had a very minor scratch in one of mine in March and it was NO fun!!! Feel better soon!

Or Fireball!

All day it has been drizzly off & on and NO WIND.
( Calm before the storm ?)

NOW it is getting what I'd call breezy...and raining buckets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate storms at night...much btter during the day when you can see what the heck is going on.....

I put bricks in the chick brooder with the 4 new Blue Copper Marans babies.
IF the power goes out, the little guys will have some heat resonate from the bricks...............hopefully.

Eggs in an incubator are not harmed much at all by a power outage, even when the temp drops to 70 degrees (I done it !!)
BUT, hatched babies are harmed by the cold.....I may have to pocket the babies if the power goes out (as talking heads are saying may happen)

Dang it ! I have the generator ready.......but hate going out at 3 A.M. in a horizontal hurricane to hook up extension cords and start the generator !!!!!!!!!!!!

I hatched 18 chicks out a few days ago and I certainly don't like the forecast for this week. I told DH it's my fault the weather is bad. Never fails. Hatch out chicks, lose power!!! At least we have the easy gas fireplace, I can hopefully keep them near that if I need too. Too many to keep under my shirt this time!! LOL!

Oh ya, forgot about mixing the two! Yes, do not drink alcohol with pain killers.

I have decided not to do any hatching this winter. I got rid of all my adult roos except the Lavender Orps in case I was tempted. Have young ones up and coming and they will be ready around Feb. Haven't hatched for a few months and I am enjoying the break. Too much to deal with with the power going out and generators and hauling chicks inside to put by the wood stove.
