Yup outside finishing the new run for my birds almost 8 ft high with bright red twine
crisscrossing the whole thing

One of my speckled Sussex had blood all over her head today. Freaked me out. I wiped it off with a rag. I did a thread asking if it was frostbite but never really got an answer. Tomorrow I will put some Neosporin on it. Any ideas?

Her eye in the upper photo looks glassed over, maybe injured ?
If you have a mean rooster or mean dominant hens, they can do pecking damage like that, and even worse than that.

*hugs*

I spent months expecting Fiery to be there. It's been almost 6 years now and sometimes I still cry thinking about her.
My wonderful Samantha.........had her 16 years, she was always with me, even at work.and then I had to put her down, 2011.................I still cry over her...............

I held her as my vet gave her the lethal shot, and I told Sam over & over "Come back to me"........and I am waiting.....................
